ERASMUS INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOPS: ROMANIA

Publicat per Esmeralda López el

Following the workshops organised by our German, Dutch and  Polish school colleagues earlier in the school year, it was Romania’s turn this week.  Nine students from 3rd and 4th ESO have taken part in a series of virtual tasks over three days, with the theme being ‘Heritage related to Nature’, during which they found out about the origin of universal symbols, such as the peace sign – a combination of the semaphore signals for the letters N and D, for Nuclear Disarmament.

The biggest task for the the six participating schools was then to create a cultural digital calendar using a variety of symbols, signs and festivities for the months which were allocated to them, which will be edited into a final product by the Romanian school.

As usual, students thoroughly enjoyed taking time out from lessons and using English to get a taste of how things work in our partner countries. We thank them all for their time, effort and initiative
